My whole philosophy behind photographing a wedding is to actual not focus on the wedding itself. As much as key images like the first kiss, portraits of the bride and groom, cutting the cake and the first dance are vital in the visual narrative of the wedding, its’s the things that go beyond ‘The Wedding” that make each story unique and poignant: relationships, people, moments, and emotion. I often have people asking me how I get my wedding photographs to be so full of life. I believe the reason is simply because I’m looking to capture images that are like a snapshot or window into your life. It means chatting with guests, mingling with family, investing time into getting to know my clients and then immersing myself into their world.

As much as I love weddings, I love art and photographing people more

In the last eight years photographing weddings, I’ve been more then blessed to have been invited into the lives of so many wonderful people and to be able to provide them with a collection of images that reveal a mere glimpse into their world.
